The most known products are Builder’s Risk insurance, Hull insurance and Loss of Hire insurance. The Builder’s risk insurance intend to cover loss or damage to the subject-matter insured caused and discovered during the period of insurance, also including faulty design of any part.

The Hull insurance covers hull (the structure of the vessel and equipment) and machinery (equipment necessary to move the vessel and control lighting, temperature…) of the insured ship.

Finally, Loss of Hire insurance covers the expected freight revenue of the ship owner during period of reparations.
